Wow… it’s been a whole month…. And I’ll show you why:

This little boy is giving me a run for my money. He has been hurt so many times in the last few weeks that he has got bumps on bumps! (Seriously. He fell off the table the day after this last photo and got a bruise on his hair line just above that big scrape.) Since he has learned to walk just before Thanksgiving (he was just 9 months old) he has wanted to climb. To his credit, he IS getting better at it. But there are days I strap him in the Ergo all day long just to keep him from falling!
He is also the reason I am never on the computer. Whenever I get on here he runs over as fast as he can and pushes buttons. I put the computer on the counter or table and he climbs to push the buttons.
On the other side of things, he is doing great! He signs all the time, is starting to say words, has broken through all but one molar, and is starting to sleep through the night as often as not. Luckily, he doesn’t mind being on my back while I plant the garden, water the new blueberry bushes, or make dinner and it keeps him safe while I can’t be his spotter.
All in all, we are doing well. I have a bunch of pictures of the garden and our yearly May vacation to share sometime soon. We have done some really cool things which I have had a chance to put up on the homeschool blog and the end of the school year is coming up fast! Soon I will have a sophomore, a 6th grader, and a kindergartener!

ah, poor kiddo! and poor mama!! i can relate as luca is a dangerous little fellow too. he was just about lucas' age when he broke his arm last winter :( and we have already had several summer disasters including a broken bird feeder, a broken pyrex bowl, a broken mason jar that held homemade granola and a badly skinned up arm and face. gah, these little guys need to give their mamas a break!!

Thank you Erika! I miss it too. It's been years since I have been this absent here. But there is a season.... ;)
I think I am coming back. But now I am dealing with technical difficulties. :P I am SO bad with this stuff! Hopefully soon!
